Your tax-deductible contribution to our organization directly funds the resources and programs that continue to raise the Nebraska Center for the Book’s level of service, as well as the quality of life for everyone in the literary community. When we approach foundations for grants, your support enables us to raise matching funds and to demonstrate strong community support.
Financial contributions may be dedicated to a specific program(s) of the donor’s choosing or toward general support of the Nebraska Center for the Book.
Every contribution makes a big difference, no matter what the amount. Checks may be mailed to the address below.
We welcome a pledge of any amount and with the schedule of your choice. Ask your employer if your company will match your donation.
Make a memorial contribution on behalf of someone special in your life. Celebrate a special event in the life of a family member or friend (graduation, wedding, anniversary, special accomplishment, retirement, etc.) by donating a cash gift in their honor. Example: donations may cover the cost of a One Book One Nebraska book kit and an inscription will be placed in the books purchased. Or, you may designate the funds toward programming such as sponsoring a Nebraska Book Festival speaker or Writers Workshop.
Donate your professional services or your volunteer time. To learn more, please contact us. We are especially in need of volunteers during the annual Nebraska Book Festival and would love to have you on board!
Make a gift of securities to the organization and avoid capital gains taxes. Or, establish a trust that will hold your assets and pay income to you during your lifetime while giving the organization the principal.
Designate the Nebraska Center for the Book as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy. You may also provide for us in your will or living trust.
